Triangle-Inflation: The Transition from Transitory

The US Federal Reserve has acknowledged that inflation will become stickier. Tim Paulson, Investment Strategist, will discuss factors that may influence inflation – and interest rates – in 2022 and beyond, as well as the potential portfolio impacts for fixed income and equity investments.
Tim Paulson engages regularly with Lord Abbett’s clients around the world, articulating the firm’s views on capital markets developments and practical applications of Lord Abbett investment strategies.
Mr. Paulson joined Lord Abbett in 2014. He began his financial services career on the mortgage trading desk at Goldman Sachs. There, he developed close working relationships with Goldman’s largest counterparties, including hedge fund principals, bank CIOs, and senior buyside portfolio managers facilitating transactions and managing the market risk of their portfolios of mortgages, treasuries, and various mortgage and interest rate derivatives. Tim transitioned to a senior client services role in 2006, assuming primary responsibility for some of the firm’s largest relationships and sharing real-time market analysis with money center banks, large asset managers, and government entities such as sovereign wealth funds and central banks. Known for his insightful market views and opinions, he authored a bi-weekly “Market Thoughts” commentary that achieved a regular readership of thousands of institutional investors. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1998.
He earned a BA in English from Haverford College and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business.
