The CFA Society North Carolina is open to professionals in the field of finance and investment management. REGULAR

Required for CFA charterholders and recommended for non-charter holding, experienced investment professionals and seasoned academics directly involved in or supporting the investment decision-making process. Regular membership is a prerequisite to earning the CFA charter and CIPM certificate.

Regular members have the right to hold office on the Board of Directors, act as a sponsor for membership and vote for board members as part of the annual proxy.

REQUIREMENTS

Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or have equivalent work experience.

Passed Level I of the CFA® exam or passed CFA Institute’s Self-Administered Standards of Practice Examination.

Have 48 months of acceptable professional work experience in the investment decision-making process.

Submit professional references.

Agree to adhere to and sign the Member’s Agreement, a Professional Conduct Statement, and any additional documentation requested by CFA Institute.

AFFILIATE

For investment professionals who do not meet the eligibility requirements of regular memberships or do not intend to participate in the CFA Program or CIPM Program.

Affiliate members can access the latest research, continued professional learning content, member directory, and exclusive volunteer opportunities.

Open to current CFA Candidates Level I and Level II only.

REQUIREMENTS

Local CFA Society North Carolina only.
