The Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) Program leverages the expertise of the CFA Institute to deliver practice-based approaches and develop skills for practical investment performance evaluation and manager selection.
The CIPM Program curriculum prepares you for effective investment performance (return and risk) evaluation, manager selection, and investment reporting based on the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) standards.
There is currently no charge for the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Program. This is an online program.
LEVEL I
Performance Measurement and Attribution
Emphasizes the conceptual foundations of performance measurement, attribution, appraisal, and presentation, as well as the GIPS standards. This level is weighted more heavily on performance measurement and attribution.
LEVEL II
Performance Appraisal and Manager Selection
Emphasizes performance appraisal and manager selection, including the application of the appropriate tools and inputs in more sophisticated investment decision-making situations.
