Gina Martin Adams, CFA, CMT, is the Global Head of Portfolio Strategy and Chief Equity Strategist for Bloomberg Intelligence, a unique research platform that provides context on markets, industries, companies, and government policy, available on the Bloomberg Professional Service at BI <GO>. 

Gina provides top-down perspective on the equity market, sectors and industries with a multi-disciplined approach that utilizes fundamental, quantitative and technical analysis. She started her career in Charlotte, as an investment strategy analyst for Evergreen Asset Management and an economist for Wachovia Bank before she moved to New York to build the U.S. Equity Strategy team for Wells Fargo Securities.

Mrs. Adams has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Florida, where she serves on the Business Advisory Council for the Warrington College of Business. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician designations. She is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of New York, and is on the Board of Directors for the CMT Association. She is also a member of the Financial Women’s Association and 100 Women in Finance.

The annual Outlook Dinner is our premier event of the year, bringing together over 350 of North Carolina’s leading investment professionals and key decision-makers. 

OVERVIEW

CFA Society North Carolina’s mission is to serve the needs of professionals in the investment decision-making process by providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas among its members, enhancing investment knowledge, and encouraging high ethical standards and professional conduct among all participants in the investment industry.

In support of the mission, the society holds several high-profile events each year with the annual Outlook event being a key pillar.  The event attracts more than four hundred attendees and guests, including professional money managers, financial planners, and financial advisors from North Carolina and nearby states.

Typically, the Outlook event consists of a cocktail hour, dinner, keynote speech, and a Q&A discussion. Each attendee will enjoy a dynamic reception, a fantastic speaker, and an exceptional meal accompanied by wonderful guests.
