DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first CFA NC Trivia Night! Socialize with peers from across North Carolina in a fun\, casual setting and dust off any cobwebs that may be forming while working from home. \n\n\n\nAnd as an added bonus – all proceeds will be donated to the North Carolina Council on Economic Education! \n\n\n\nThe North Carolina Council on Economic Education (NCCEE) was founded with one goal in mind — to enhance and advance economic and financial education for K-12 educators and students of NorthCarolina. The non-profit organization provides financial literacy courses\, workshops\, and programs\, as well as economic education training to hundreds of North Carolina teachers each year. \n\n\n\nHow does our networking event help? These funds will be used to provide professional development for high school teachers that are teaching the newly required Economics and Personal Finance course. This is a new course required for graduation and is a new\, full credit course\, with no textbook. The state of NC was meant to provide funds but the state budget was vetoed and never approved. \n\n\n\nParticipate as a team or we can place you in a team!If you would like to play but can’t think of anyone special to recruit for your team of 4 to 5 people\, it is no problem! Sign up as an individual player and we will place you onto a team. All players will have the opportunity to briefly network with their teammates in breakout rooms before the game begins.Space is limited so gather your team and register today!How It Works:• Teams of 4-5 will compete in this virtual trivia competition.• Each team designates a team captain. The captain is responsible for submitting team answers electronically at the end of each round.• Players will be able to discuss their answers in private Zoom breakout rooms before submission.• The highest-scoring team wins a prize and CFANC bragging rights!How to Register:• Click “Register” and register only yourself OR if you are on a team\, add your team members or team name on the registration form.• Don’t have a team?
